History - American Ironhorse

August 13th, 2008 by Randy Slabey

American Ironhorse was founded in 1995 and is based in Forth Worth, Texas. This company did make a mark for itself as one of the largest makers of customized V-Twin motorcycles. American Ironhorse is famous for manufacturing custom made unique bikes with the frame geometry or engine differing from a regular motorcycle. Unfortunately, for the first time in 14 years, American Ironhorse Company and the overall motorcycle industry is seeing a downturn. The sales have crashed and there are all sorts of rumours about the company filling for bankruptcy. Some of the models of American Ironhorse motorcycles are Slammer, the all new-redesigned Texas Chopper, Bandera, Legend, LSC, Outlaw, Tejas, and Judge. American Ironhorse Motorcycles also designs in house proprietary parts on its motorcycles including seats, wheels, designing, engineering, painting and polishing. These custom made bikes can easily run at great speeds of 160km/h to 200km/h. Even though they cost twice as much as compared to a regular motorcycle, the real bike lovers don’t really mind the expense. You can find American Ironhorse used motorcycle for sale at Motorcycle Auctions Online. Here we have motorcycle auctions and used motorcycles for sale.
